Gratitude is something anyone can actively practice. It has many benefits like allowing you to be optimistic, more patient, and less stressed. Reflecting on things you are thankful for could help you develop a more positive mindset and achieve better mental health as you somewhat have a psychological buffer. Here are some ways to practice gratitude everyday in your Tengah Gardens Residences home.

Think of Small Joys

Every time you wake up or before you go to bed, think of a couple of things that you are grateful for. It could be anyone who made an impact and anything that mattered to you during the day, such as your loved ones, pets, an item, or opportunities that have opened for you.

Say Thank You

Saying thank you goes a long way. It may be to your friends for doing something for you, family for cooking your meal, your partner for doing the dishes or making your cup of coffee. Thank you is a powerful word that develops bonds of trust and gratitude.

Change Your Views

If you are having trouble coming up with things that you are grateful for, maybe you need a change of perspective. Put yourself in someone else’s place who is in a less fortunate situation, which might inspire you to think of a lot of things that you could be grateful for, such as good health and having a roof over your head.

Do Acts of Kindness

Taking part in acts of kindness without expecting something in return or posting it online could be fulfilling. It could be fixing something for your brother, buying food for friends and family or helping the less fortunate.

Connect with Loved Ones

You could harness the internet for expressing gratitude, like texting family and friends about your appreciation of them, or spread good cheer on your social media feed.
