Many people are interested in visiting Nepal, the Himalayan Kingdom. It is a beautiful country to visit. This country offers a lot of exciting things to explore. If you love natural things, wildlife, and some beautiful views of nature, you can visit this country now. Before you decide to visit Nepal, you may want to take a look and read this article here. Here, we present you with some valuable tips for helping you explore the beauty of Nepal. You will get an incredible experience when visiting this beautiful country with your lovely friends and families.

1. Avoid trekking solo

This is the first tip you need to know when you want to stay safe during your Nepal visit. You need to ensure that you are accompanied by other travelers or a professional guide when trekking. You can find a lot of attractive websites where you can find fellow trekkers who are planning to do trekking. Avoiding solo trekking will be a good safety for you who want to explore the beauty of Nepal. You will safely start and end the trekking activity with other people. It is also a good idea for you to hire some local professional guides ready to show you the best way to trek in Nepal. Several guided and group tours are available, including Everest Base Camp Trek.

2. Always carry copies of your permits and passport

When traveling in Nepal, you should always carry your passport, permits, and visa wherever you go. When trekking, you also need to have a permit from the Nepal tourism board. It would help if you showed this permit on different trekking trails in the Himalayas. Not showing these documents will bring some issues during your journey. Having permits with you is a wise idea to carry a soft copy of your documents on your smartphone.

3. Learn some essential Nepali words for standard terms

Even though you can speak English, you may still want to consider learning some essential Nepali words. English is a secondary language for most native people in Nepal. When it is possible, you can learn some of the most common or most used Nepali words. Some of these famous common words are “Paani” for water, “Khana or Khaja” for food, “Yo baato kata jaanchha” for asking “where does this road go,” “Paisa” for money, “Namaste” for greetings, etc. By learning about some of these familiar words, you can avoid getting a lot of problems when you are in Nepal.

4. Get a Nepalese SIM card

This is another crucial thing you have to do when you arrive in Nepal. You can get this SIM card at the airport. Popular SIM card providers in Nepal are NCell, Nepal Telecom, and Smart Cell. Having available Internet on your mobile phone can quickly help you contact other people. It will help you make your travel more convenient. Having a local SIM card will be a good choice for you who want to communicate at a very affordable price.

5. Bring all the necessary equipment and gears

Traveling to Nepal will be a thrilling experience for you. You will ensure that you can pack all the essential things in your backpack. Some essential things that you need to put in your backpack include a jacket, rain jacket, socks, sleeping bag, lightweight hiking shoes, T-shirts, shorts, trekking pants, fleece, cash, water, sunscreen, long-sleeved T-shirt, hat, head torch, etc. Before you start your journey to Nepal, you may want to check your packing list.
