Despite its small size, this portable speaker is capable of serious bass.

The best portable speakers for Android

Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth Speaker
Despite its small size, this portable speaker is capable of serious bass. We can say that Bose has created one of the best Bluetooth speakers on the market. You can expect excellent sound quality when using Soundlink.
One of the most advantageous features of this speaker is its IPX7 water resistance rating, making it ideal for beach trips, pool parties, but even in the shower. Plus, it has a tear-resistant silicone strap on the back so it can be taken anywhere and secured anywhere.
Sony XB 10 speaker
The SRS-XB10 is also a portable speaker for Android phones with a compact size and lightweight design. Available in 6 different coloUrs – black, blue, green, white, red and yellow.
Quite impressive in this little speaker is the powerful bass we experienced while listening to the XB 10. Unfortunately, when we play songs that contain a lot of bass, we’ve already experienced some distortion at high volume.
This portable speaker can be connected not only via Bluetooth but also via NFC. It can last up to 16 hours and, although drip-proof, is not completely water-resistant.

JBL Clip 3

When it comes to portable Bluetooth speakers, we can’t miss the JBL either. Available in 11 colours, the JBL Clip 3 delivers clear, glossy sound and correct bass.
The JBL Clip 3 has an extremely rugged design with an integrated carabiner. It also has an IPX7 waterproof built-in speakerphone and can play for up to 10 hours. What’s more, you can expect excellent sound quality from this small portable speaker.
Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore
If you love bass, the Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore is the perfect choice for you. Although the price is a bit high, it’s worth a try with its fantastic sound quality, long-lasting battery and attractive design.
The battery promises 27 hours of operation, and the speaker is easy to carry and has a pleasing appearance. Plus, it’s scratch- and dust- and water-resistant.

The best Apple speakers

The Apple HomePod Mini is the best Apple speaker we’ve tried so far. This small speaker has a built-in Siri assistant for home use and understands our instructions remotely and in noisy environments. The middle range is balanced, the definite and precise vocals and instruments sound perfectly. Sometimes the higher vocals and instruments sounded a little dull. Even at maximum volume, the clarity of the sounds is maintained. Thanks to its 360-degree design, it can be positioned almost anywhere, so the sound stage will be wide and sound natural. With the Apple Home App, you can pair it with another compatible speaker to create a stereo pair. You can also connect it to several other speakers if you want the speaker to fill a large room without having to increase its volume.

Unfortunately, like most small speakers, this model has a hard time reproducing the deep rumble in the low ranges that bass fans would normally expect, and there are no EQs or presets to refine the sound. Unfortunately, we can’t pair our devices with the speaker via Bluetooth, so you can’t simply stream audio content over Bluetooth. You can only use a Bluetooth connection to transmit audio.
Compatible with Apple AirPlay. Apple speakers generally support Apple AirPlay, so you can pair your iPhone with the speaker to play music content wirelessly. To use Apple AirPlay, both the speaker and iPhone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Apple speakers usually have a built-in Siri voice assistant
Apple speakers have incredible controllability thanks to their 360-degree design, resulting in an open and spacious sound field.
Apple speakers need to be plugged in to use, so we would recommend it as a home speaker rather than a portable speaker.
They are not shock- and water-resistant unfortunately.
