GOFO Express is a logistics, supply chain, and transportation provider that delivers last-mile delivery solutions across the United States and Puerto Rico. Established as a subsidiary of Ebisu, the company supports businesses and global e-commerce providers through advanced technologies designed to improve routing, package tracking, and delivery transparency. Its expanding network includes sorting centers, transfer hubs, terminal delivery stations, and warehouses located near major airport hubs, helping streamline customs clearance and delivery operations. Since launching in 2023, the company has expanded service coverage to thousands of zip codes while supporting high cargo volumes and efficient delivery throughput. The company’s focus on operational consistency and real-time logistics management directly relates to the warehouse pickup and delivery procedures followed by its drivers and support teams.
GOFO Drivers and the Warehouse Pickup and Delivery Processes
GOFO Express specializes in providing last-mile logistics that meet the needs of diverse US customers. With more than 140 hubs and stations across the United States and a presence in 47 states, the network combines intelligent automation and real-time tracking with highly efficient package sorting and transfer, in coordination with delivery service providers (DSP).
One of the key elements of GOFO’s value proposition is maintaining a team of highly qualified drivers who follow standard procedures for arrival, package pickup, and departure. It assures accurate, efficient completion of every route. The streamlined warehouse pickup process starts with the incoming driver parking responsibly in a designated safety zone. The clearly demarcated area helps drivers avoid blocking docks, trash, and gas fill-up areas.
Upon arrival, drivers check in by scanning a personal QR code in the GOFO app on their device. It allows teams to assign daily tasks for drivers, which they can review in the task list. It contains information such as delivery and redelivery points and provides a planned delivery route. Drivers then locate their assigned pickup area for the day.
Before scanning any package, drivers confirm that the route label matches the assigned tasks on the list. By tapping a middle icon on the screen, drivers start scanning the package, avoiding any out-of-zone packages. The driver organizes packages for their route, writes the delivery sequence on the package, and scans the image to confirm receipt.
On occasion, package labels don’t scan or conform to the driver’s route. In such cases, the driver immediately alerts the warehouse manager of the cross-zone or missing-sequence package. They bring the mislabeled or unscanned package to the manager’s counter, where the manager can correct the issue. Staff verifies all package codes before departure, with drivers verifying sign-out before loading and heading onto the road.
The driver next loads all packages in the vehicle in the proper order. They return their borrowed equipment and head out on the route, with safety a core mandate. Residential delivery standards require drivers to carefully and consistently verify delivery address information as they approach the door.
Drivers must take three compliant delivery photos: one of the package, with the barcode and tracking information clearly visible. The second is of the doorplate or residential surroundings, with address information clearly visible. Finally, drivers must take a photo of the package, placing it at least one meter away. GPS verifies the driver’s presence at the location. Taken together, these elements serve as proof of compliant, safe delivery.
In addition, drivers follow package placement rules specific to the house type. When buildings have three or more floors, the driver must not place the package on a stairway. When the home faces a street less than six feet from the road, the driver places the package as close to the door as possible. For non-street houses, drivers place packages directly at the door. Following these basic steps helps minimize disputes with recipients and the need for corrective action, while ensuring efficiency and proper delivery throughput rate.
