Mess is an inevitable part of maintaining a home, whether you’re living in a standalone house or an 8@BT condo. Fortunately, there are always things you can do to minimize it, including tech inventions that make life easier. Here are five tips to heed if you decide to bring in a furry pet into your abode.

Potty Training is Vital

A potty-trained pet can mean the difference between a constantly messy home and one that’s spotless. It’s possible to have a small condo space that looks nice even if you have a pet running around. The trick is constant practice and teaching your pet to relieve themselves in a specific place.

Smart Pet Food Dispensers

If you want even less mess, then you can avoid the spills and chunks of pet food littering the floor by getting food dispensers. There’s quite a lot of options, including smart devices that dispense at a certain time.

Clean Small Messes Quickly

Though at times it could be tiring when you’re cleaning messes every few hours or so, this could prevent it from being a full-blown accident, especially if there are small children about. Have a small rag or poop bag handy, along with some wipes to take out the waste.

Consider Crates or Limited Spaces When You’re Out

Limiting the space where your pet can roam prevents huge accidents and similar incidents. When you’re going out for more than an hour, consider putting them in a crate, or setting up fences around a room.

Cleaning Services and Technology

Lastly, consider having a professional clean up your condo. These professionals will reach spots and areas where you usually can’t, and remove odors and other unwanted substances from your floor, furniture, and walls. A monthly professional clean can really make a difference in this regard.
