Many people struggle to sustain a diet, or even have a proper one anyway. In addition, most wouldn’t think of hiring a professional dietician to get proper meal prep. That doesn’t mean you give up, though; here’s some advice so you can start eating healthy in your Amberwood at Holland condo.

Veggies and Fruits Should Comprise 50% of Your Meal

It’s recommended that half the food you eat is vegetables. Fruits should be eaten in around 4 portions a day. These foods contain many different nutrients that are capable of providing their own distinct benefits. Some of these are dietary fiber, which prevents constipation, a wide range of vitamins, which help the immune system, and so on. To save money, you can start a mini farm in your balcony or backyard.

Fish Should be Eaten Only Around Twice a Week

Fish are very healthy when eaten in moderate amounts. Fish can fight depression, prevent heart diseases, and provide a healthy amount of protein. However, all fish contain a certain level of mercury. Depending on the fish you eat, too much of it can cause several problems, ranging from damaged kidneys to preventing further development in fetuses. So, in acknowledgement of that, research your fish choice before eating.

Have a Bottle of Water at Close Proximity

Water helps break down food so it can be easier for our digestive system to collect the nutrients. This happens as water goes down to our stomach, it interacts with our stomach acid and helps further digestion. Water is also part of bodily fluids and waste extraction, such as urine and poop.

Meat in Moderation

Meat offers unique benefits such as enhancing brain health, providing lots of protein, and improving immunity. Aim for about 2 portions per day, one for lunch and one for dinner. Eating excessive amounts can result in severe diseases and health problems, such as diabetes and even cancer.
