Creating a website for your business or your blogs might seem like a simple task, but it isn’t. Sometimes, you create a fully functional website with relevant content and images but still don’t get a high number of views. Similarly, people might be visiting your page but don’t stay for a long duration. Either way, you lose potential clients, and it’s not a good sign.

Attracting viewers to your page is important but keeping them on your website for a longer duration is even more crucial. It is one of the toughest tasks. If you can’t keep a visitor on your page or fail to persuade him to look at your products, you won’t be able to make any profit. So, to increase your sales, you must convince buyers to stay on your page. It is a time-taking task, but it is possible with some additional effort.  

Make your Website Responsive

A responsive website not only attracts more viewers, but also keeps them hooked to your page.   • Adding headings and subheadings
  • Adding bullet points to highlight key points
  • Adding relevant images

Keep your font size and style readable. In most scenarios, a change in font size has positively affected the overall engagement.

Use Call-to-Action pages

Another effective technique to increase engagement is adding a CTA section at the end. It helps the viewers understand your business. However, a static CTA won’t be much beneficial.

For the best results, add animation to your CTA section. Animated CTA’s are much more appealing. For example, you can add a sliding CTA section or something that pops up when the user reaches the end of the page. Either way, an animated CTA increases the time visitors spend on your page.

Reduce Loading Time

Loading time can be an irritating thing. In today’s time, no one has the patience to wait for a page to load. The longer it takes for a website to load, the lower the chances of a user staying on it. So we need to deal with this issue before going forward. 

Most individuals hate slow websites. Even Google considers your site speed while ranking your website. Thus, it is necessary to reduce website loading time. A delay of even a few seconds can cost you dozens of visitors and result in financial losses. If you want to save yourself from future problems, solve this problem before going ahead.

Interact With Clients  

You won’t be able to keep your visitors on your page if you don’t engage with them. Website owners who use live chats, social media buttons, or comment sections get higher engagement. For example, when you add a live chat section to your page, the user can directly take help from you. A person getting 24/7 support from your side will be more inclined towards your page.

Likewise, adding comment sections and sharing options impress more people. They will not only buy your products but also share positive feedback amongst their friend’s circle. 

Make Navigation Easier

Just like responsiveness, navigation is also an essential component of your website. When people can easily navigate through your web pages, they buy various products. No one wants to deal with a complicated navigation menu. So keep things sorted.

Don’t forget to include a search bar and menu bar for the ease of the user. A search bar makes it easy to look for various items. Instead of going through every category, you can directly write down what you want to buy.
