We all want our dog’s birthday to be fun and memorable. The downside- a dog’s body is limited to the activities they can do. But we can still make our pets’ birthdays by going into their perspective on what is fun and pawsome! Make it extra special by holding the birthday right in your Thomson Reserve condo.
Gift Opening
Many dogs love tearing stuff apart and opening boxes. So, if you mix those two together, you get a gift opening! Purchase anything (keep in mind puppies can only see blue, yellow, and gray) that may be interesting to a dog, and cover it with soft wrapping along the edges to allow easy ripping. Now you can watch or record a video of your dog happily unwrapping their new present!
Dog-Safe Cake and Dessert
Choose a cake and additionally a doggy ice cream that is safe for dogs to prevent any unwanted reactions. Additionally, some stores make your pet’s face on the cake using edible and safe ingredients. To double-check, you may research harmful foods for puppies, such as chocolate, grapes, and others. Also, watch the portion sizes; too many could be harmful to your furry one.
Themed Clothes
What’s a birthday without hats? Shop for comfortable and neat clothes and accessories like shades or balloons for your dog.
Go Out
Go out to a place that your dog loves to go to. This can be the mall, a vast open space, or the dog park. The point is to wherever that is special. If possible, bring your pooch’s favorite snacks and toys. Don’t forget doggy essentials such as diapers and poop bags.
Guests
You can invite familiar dogs, which could range from the neighbor’s dog to your friend’s dog, and turn this into a real party!
Dedicate to the Day
Don’t do anything besides giving your dog your undivided attention. Give them as many cuddles as you want and look at the photos and videos the next day.
