When shopping for a new condo, there are certain things fur parents should look for. After all, you’ll be sharing that space with your pet, and you’ll want them to enjoy the new home just as much as you would. Make sure you’re getting your money’s worth by considering condos with these six amenities.

Pet Park

The right condo for a pet owner would have a park in walking distance. The pet park could be within the vicinity or located just a stone’s throw away. It gives you and your furry friend a spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature so they won’t feel restless being cooped up indoors for a long time.

Common Area

The common area could be any of the amenities (gym, pool, etc) or the lobby floor, or the outside grounds. Generally speaking, it should be more accommodating for pets and their owners. Lounge areas or event spaces are usually set up just for this.

Favorable Pet Policy

Before considering a condo like the Penrith, you should check its pet policy first and ensure the management allows them inside. Learn more about their leash requirements or if there are any size or weight restrictions, as well as pet fees.

Elevator Access

Walking up the stairs could be a pain, especially if you’re located on the upper floors. For this, a condo must have elevator access for added convenience.

Close to Grooming and Vet Services

Choose a condo that has an excellent pet-friendly location. You can bring your furry friend to a nearby veterinarian clinic for check-ups and grooming services so they will look nice and clean.

Pet Spa or Washing Station

Having a pet spa will certainly add to you and your fur baby’s lifestyle. Cleanup will be a snap with raised tubs and dryers. This could be located in a common space or in specialized pet lounges.
